Our approach

Advancing Minimally Invasive Gynaecology & Safe Motherhood in the North West

Historically, many women in Mahikeng, Mmabatho, Lichtenburg, Zeerust, and Vryburg had to travel to Pretoria or Johannesburg for complex laparoscopic surgery or high-risk obstetric management. Dr Rasenyai established his specialist practice at Clinix Victoria Private Hospital to ensure women in the Ngaka Modiri Molema District have local access to modern keyhole gynaecological surgery and specialist-led maternity care.

Qualifications & registration

Dr Tebo Rasenyai completed his undergraduate medical degree — Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) — at the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine, University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), where he developed a strong clinical foundation in high-volume maternal and women's health.

He subsequently undertook his specialist postgraduate registrar training at the University of Pretoria (UP), earning his Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology — MMed (O&G) — while simultaneously admitting as a Fellow of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of South Africa, FCOG (SA), under the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA).

Registered as an Independent Practice Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA Registration No. MP 0814580) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF Practice No. PR 1352652), Dr Rasenyai brings tertiary-level diagnostic and surgical expertise to private practice in Mahikeng.
